Detail work more important than law enforcement? Friday, October 1, 2004
Harold J. Wolfe Metrowest Daily News

The first part is what the Framingham Tab actually printed.  The second part is what I actually submitted.  They cut what they don't like.  No explanations given.

The Framingham police chief, Steven Carl isn't worried about any smuggling rings dumping truckloads of illegal aliens into Framingham.  In an August 19, 2004 Liz Mineo of the MetroWest Daily News documents the long journey illegal aliens take to Framingham, using $12,000 illegal alien package deals.  Framingham has thousands of illegal aliens, some of whom have children in our schools and burden the taxpayers at the tune of $9,000 per child per year.

Carl states "We don't have the ability and we don't have the desire to" stop them.

Earlier in the article, he states, "I don't have the resources, and we don't have the training for immigration law."

Carl said his main concern is whether they break the law or not.  "We police and enforce American law," said Carl.  What does Carl think INA Title 8, Section 1324 is. Brazilian law?

In an earlier article, I learned that the price of a day's fix of heroin was down to the price of a 12-pack of beer in Metrowest.  The "war on drugs" has been a futile exercise in official stupidity.  The price of all illegal drugs (excepting marijuana) has been on a steady decrease.

The good news is that if you submit a request to the town for the employees who have the twenty highest salaries, fifteen will be police officers.  How do they achieve this? You see them zealously guarding holes in our streets, sipping their coffee and munching donuts.  Detail work is far more important to our law enforcement community.

In an earlier article, I learned that the price of a day's fix of heroin was down to the price of a 24-pack of beer in the metrowest area.

Meanwhile, an article in the Boston Globe on September 8, 2004 is about the Boston police officers "double dipping" by dropping court appearances and working two details simultaneously and actually being stupid enough to log it all down.

Detail work allows them to significantly boost their pay.  It would seem that state sponsored corruption that requires us to use police officers as flag men have turned our law enforcement community into a pack of "girlie men".
