Every tax is a pay cut.  Every tax cut is a pay raise.
Citizens for Limited Taxation

October 3, 2002
James Pillsbury, Libertarian candidate for State Representative, asked the Selectmen what the law was on pulling political signs posted on public property.  John M. Kahn responded by stating that he did not know what the law was but the town would adhere to the law (whatever it is :-). Perhaps, the Selectmen should find out the law and specifically tell the town manager who should inform his department heads about the law.

I pointed out the Dr. Mark Smith's (Superintendent of School) legacy over six years was to increase school costs by 50% and reducing SAT scores by 2.5%.  For this, he is rewarded.

I also complained about the exhorbitant cost of what I call "the miserable little park" called the Downtown Commons.  The taxpayers of Framingham contributed $500,000 for this project.

Another citizen complained about sky rocketing costs of health insurance for the town employees and that little annoyance where the town pays for 90% of it
