Two recent letters have attacked CCFIILE, a group which is trying to do something about the illegal alien problem in Framingham.  I, for one, am grateful to CCFIILE for their determined efforts to rid the town of people who had and have no respect for our immigration laws. I am particularly concerned of the effect illegal aliens have on the wage scale for citizens.  Many people hire these lawbreakers because they work hard for low wages and no benefits.  It is not surprising that our Chamber of Commerce has been active in promoting the sister city program with a city that provides us with such a docile non-union work force. The present Board of Selectmen by a 4-1 vote implicitly endorsed illegal aliens by refusing to include the phrase "law abiding" in its diversity proclamation.  I will continue to support CCFIILE and want to support political candidates who will advocate enforcement of all our laws, local, state and federal.
